Nano ESI-MS equipped with LESA (Liquid Extract Surface Analysis) has been installed in our laboratory.
Nano ESI-MS systems equipped with LESA (Liquid Extract Surface Analysis) have been installed. The following two points have become possible, which were difficult to analyze.
① Structural analysis of dissociative compounds (complexes, organometallic salts) and special solutions (high-concentration solutions, high/low-pH solutions)
High-resolution mass spectrometer for Nano flow enables stable detection of molecular ions with high sensitivity even when the sample volume is very small. In addition, high mass resolution enables high-precision formula calculation.
② Local solvent-extraction Nano ESI-MS
By using the robotic ion source LESA function, a local (spatial resolution > 400μmφ) solvent extract of the sample surface can be prepared for detailed structural analysis of surface adhering components.
